Oak Island Beach Poetry Reading
For Oak Island Beach Poetry Reading
To believe by many, I had been led,
What he lived on was quite a spread;
Out in spaces that were open wide
Which on often. he spied and spied.
Did love land right down to last piece;
As length of his life did soon increase,
The better he wanted his life to be
Should start writing this single soliloquy.
Never liked being called lunatic or leech
Said sweet home was on Oak Island Beach;
Longer he lived there and had been
Wouldn't ever let anyone come in.
Myself would have kept the whole place to;
When each day ended and was finally through
To God always liked saying this little prayer;
Forgive me, am selfish and don't like to share.
God gave him an image which was graphic;
When you want to try and avoid all the traffic
Causing confusion and flowers to wilt
Bridge to island better not allow to be built.
