O' So Many Broken People
O’ SO MANY BROKEN PEOPLE
O’ So many broken people
Emotions high as a steeple
If they are not driving you up the wall
They are dragging you down to their fall
Forever challenging your loyalty
Treating them with royalty
Is, I say is never enough
Do not ever call their bluff
Fight, or flight straight out of the door
That’s you cursed, there is no cure
Someone, or something broke their soul
Breaking you is now is their only goal
Patience broken
No words spoken
No compromise
Rages with tears in their eyes
Leaving with no good-byes
O’ so many broken people
Their acts so unspeakable
Laying waste on your soul
For their life someone else stole
Only the ones strong and understanding remain
Unswerving against their storms that on you they rain
Patience, understanding, our time and our love
Until those fears of yours are all got rid of
Bridges restored; trust replaced
Until all mistrusts are displaced
Nothing can be perfect in an unreal world
Get up from your fetal position and unfurl
Stop blaming others
Then on them smother
With your cruelly taken away naivety
Marring others with your hurtful ferocity
We are all not the same, hurt not the ones trying to take away your hostility
O’ to all those broken people
Stop for a moment, and learn to love again
