Nowhere Am I
Nowhere am I, for I have seen
The Mission bells of pure pristine
Gathering light from Heaven itself
Filtering in, the Common wealth
Naked they stand for He to see
Just what their lives have set to be
Shivering in doubt, and huddled together
They pray their souls will last forever.
Cast aside by the entrance door
Hastily thrown upon the floor-
Jewels of splendor, materials so bright
None could compare to His glorious sight!
They beg for mercy, pleading their cause
With their arms raised up for Glory
They tell of hardships they've endured
As He listens to their story
Weaving tales of woe they speak-
As they haughtingly touch his weathered feet
Humbled by His presence felt
At the Alter, where they knelt.
