Not the least bit frantic

A stranger among reams of proposals
the original thought bided its time

Counting sheep while very much awake
       the sheep eventually sheared

    As the thought turned inward
       not the least bit frantic

    In search of meaning
       where none might be found

another thought inducing poem. is this about thinking at night? Sometimes, I notice a specific point where I realize, my brain is not making sense. In the light of day, I'm less able to discern when I'm not making sense. Sometimes, meaning is hard to come by.

I always prefer to make dollars, as I am totally nonsensical. Smiles, Gershon

After reading the first two, I came to this poem anything but somber. Now, color me somber. An excellent write. Just leaving, one just clicks in the validate box and goes

succinct and subtly profound, Gershon. The realm of dreams can certainly be thought provoking...I especially liked the last verse

Calm, clever, and quietly profound, your poem captures the patience and subtle humor of thought unfolding.

Great description there, Rowena. How much do I owe you? Smiles, Gershon
