Normal By Michelle Morris 29/10/2022 Look at all the normal people Going about their day You only think they're normal Because you can't feel their rage You can't feel their hurt And you can't feel their pain You can't hear their thoughts Or inside their soul cage Unless you're an empath Or psychic or intuitive You'll take things at face value Because that's what humans do We're so preoccupied with the media With ourselves and silly things So seldom are we introspective Or experiencing mystical beings No one is truly normal It's a complete and utter myth Everyone is crazy Is just depends on your environment If you aren't with your tribe Like-minded individuals You'll seem to be different and wild Just because you don't fit in The trick is to be yourself And go to where you are celebrated We all deserve dignity and respect The chance to show our true faces Focus on being yourself Focus on your life path Light up the world with your heart Be a star that shines in the dark © Michelle Morris, 2022
