Noonday Winter
Noonday Winter
One noonday winter, a knock on her cottage door.
Poinsettias there, smiling at her.
What a deep red color, embraced in paper of gold.
A gift from her love, whom she ran to hold!
In his arms, the snowflakes like rice, at a wedding fell.
Joining them together, in a gentle wind's swell.
When one is in love, the world is more than well!!
His tender kiss on her tear-stained face..
Their warm breaths into winter's air, but a trace.
