I hadn't heard of 'Spalpeen' before, John, and I'll swop it for 'Gigglemug'- a habitually smiling face. Regards, Viv

A nice Limerick, John, and I've learned something new- there's a place called St Stephen, and my favourite word of the week is 'Passamaquoddy'. God, I love this site.. Regards, Viv

Lovely to hear from you Viv. My ancestors came from St, Stephen, Cornwall. My 2x great grandfather migrated to Australia in 1864. Viv, have you ever heard of the word, 'spalpeen?' it is in a poem I wrote about a barber. Thanks Viv------John
