Notes About The Poem

Poetic Form: Waltz Wave

Nocturnal

Night, lunar- lit. The eyes luminous, surprise prey. Fearsome hunters of lowly creatures. Nocturnal dwellers in darkness encounter nightmares of savage death.

Nightlife in nature is fierce and beautiful, as is daylife. We just don't usually see it. Thanks for visiting and commenting. :)

Great write! This is like the unwritten dark side of my poem 'Eyes of the Beholders', this is the other side of the night, and I wasn't able to get it the way I would have wanted...the eyes beholding peace in my poem was because the lovers were blind to all else, but this poem you've written, yes, this is it, the all else :)! Well done!!

Thank you BJ. I read your Eyes of the Beholdlers. Fabulous! It's like a pair of aces! And we both chose an unusual form for expressing our thoughts. Interesting. Thanks! :)
