It's a gloomy day; Spring is on Her way, yet I feel somewhat depressed. I enjoy the sun and yet, I've seen none, today mirrors all the rest. The birds aren't singing, for Winter's clinging and the sky's stained somber grey. The air is chilly; it may sound silly, but I fear Winter may stay. There is not much snow just an inch or so, but April is near its end. When Winter won't budge, Spring gives Her a nudge or She will overextend. I dream of when green arrives on the scene, and flowers bloom in color. But with only white and no buds in sight, today seems that much duller.
