No Title, Yet - 13

I have an amazing story to tell you about. Something happened to me just over a week ago. It may be hard to believe, but I have no doubt That it happens all the time, and we just don’t know. It all began when someone awoke me from my sleep, Right in the middle of an incredible dream. They shocked me with something so I couldn’t make a peep, But all I wanted to do was just yell and scream. There were four of them, creatures I’d never seen before. They abducted me and took me up into their ship. I could hear the echo of their footsteps on the floor As they carried me through the hallway by my hips. It almost felt like we were on water the whole time. It should have been soothing, but I was terrified. What did I do to deserve this; some sort of crime? I just laid there on the cold, metal table and cried. The creatures spent all day and night doing many tests. They checked my weight, took my blood, and poked and prodded me. After what seemed like days, they finally let me rest. I just wanted to go home. Why wouldn’t they let me be? They finally took me back to my own little world, To the exact place from which they abducted me. I’m different now from the other boys and girls, But, to them, I’m just another otter in the sea.
