No Tariffs, Fair Trade Best

Despite the fear mongering (phony news) (Socialist Blues) American's economy is doing well – not, in a hand-basket, going to hell. Today's new jobs report, 228,000 created, America being resuscitated -- (Sorry for tariffs, no other choice) (Capitalist’s again have an enterprising sane voice) (Despite Socialist Boos, by adopting Free-trade World Economies will all prosper~ and not lose!) Those corrupt closer to home, The little man is no-longer your manipulated cash-cow – we had sense of being ripped off~ Musk, is only showing us, by who and how.

Dear Joe, I agree with you on what we see on the internet or news isnt always true, to be honest i thought america was in need of a leadership like trump but seeing some recent events i am confused, i dont discuss politics openly but i sure hope tariffs etc whatever that he is doin would be for the best and the world would benefit somehow eventually. One can only hope as politicians often always promise so much during elections to end up serving something else! I agree about the woke generation going a bit too extreme too. Lets hope for the best. America is seriously in debt -- it has over spent by trillions, a lot of which has gone to Europe in the form of foreign aid and military protection. If we don't stop the leak, the hemorrhage, our dollar collapses and the American people lose everything they own. Families lose their homes, children go hungry. It is that simple. Tariffs are a tax. It is unearned income. It is theft. Trump is only asking for Europe to stop excessively taxing the USA. Free Trade. Start spending more on your own self defense. Be more industrious, and allow your people to get out from under the thump of increasing Socialist tyranny. Give your people more opportunity to start businesses and create personal wealth. It is that simple. Tariffs are wrong, whether the US levies them on other nations or other nations use them against us. It is theft. It is unearned income.

Trump wants them eliminated. Yet he is still willing to allow some excesses on the USA, so as not the inflict too much pain on our long time allies. We suffer a little more together till this mess is straightened out. That simple. No rocket science involved. That simple...and that complex. He wants Europe to stop ripping America off through tariffs, and to open Europe's Markets to greater free trade with the US, -- stop the protectionist practices, and currency manipulation! He doesn't expect this overnight. He just wants actual commitments from foreign leaders to trend in a direction that is equitable for all. I am not an economist. I am not affiliated with my government other than the fact that I vote and pay taxes. This is only my opinion. This is what I think Trump is aiming for. One thing I do sense in my heart, is...that he is no unfair dictator...and certainly not stupid. I don’t know Trump. Have never personally spoken to him.

What we hear on the internet is not always entirely true. Often a gross distortion of the truth. I heard a comedian, Jon Stewart say, What happened the last time US increased tariffs a hundred years ago? There was a depression. The audience cackled. No, the increase in world tariffs, 20%, came in 1930, a year after the stock market collapsed. Now whether the tariffs increased the duration of the Depression is open for debate. Many scholars disagree.

No man is truly good...nor is no man truly bad. We are all made of God substance. He is part of our every thought and all fiber of our being, including the ground we walk on. He thinks we are capable of good, or He would not have created us. He thinks the earth can be good, or He would not have allowed it to exist as long as it has. I have met some truly beautiful people -- maybe not God...but people I have found a pleasure to know and worship with. Only my opinion. God speaks for Himself...I believe by the constant mercy He shows us (which is another form of trust -- and love) walks with us daily when allowed. Those truly bad, the animals that only have human form, I will allow Him to deal with in His own way. It is miles above my pay scale. I will try to do good. That is my focus. If you do not like Trump, do not trust Trump, that is your right which I respect. Though I may often disagree with your summations.

One slanderous accusation after another, with no substance -- what lies? You are just repeating slanderous, baseless accusations. Political propaganda. What lie after lie after lie? So you don't like him because he lies!~ which you have trouble specifically demonstrating. And I am stupid. Let's just leave it at that. We are getting nowhere here. I don't want to be unfair to you. If you have not lived in the states, then you are only repeating what you read and hear over the internet, which is mostly propaganda as far as I can tell.

Trump promised to get rid of illegal criminals from America, which he has been doing. He promised to secure our borders. Which he has. He’s protecting women sports by prohibiting men from destroying women physically during competition. He is protecting children, young children, from dangerous sex change experiments. He has been active in restoring parents' rights, so parents can openly object to the Woke nonsense their children are being taught in school. Again allowing parents to have input without fear of criminal prosecution. And much more that is positive. A long list sounding like promises made and kept. A survey of the American people came out today -- and Nationwide Trumps approval rating has never been higher. Egg prices are down 3 bucks a dozen. Gasoline down 40 cents a gallon and yet falling.

Totally agree, Joe; thank you. All I was trying to do with Anne, whom I greatly admire, is to stop the name calling and get to the substance of what the man is about. We can't communicate sensibly with name calling. Can't solve differences with adversary name calling. Oh, about the nitty-gritty~ that nitty-gritty are real farmers and ranchers who have put their hearts and souls into the family business, and depend on being able to sell their good products if to survive in the vocation they love. Too many chiefs, and not enough Indians.

Back to Free Trade: I hear the US imports 2 billion dollars of beef from Australia every year, but American ranchers are prohibited from selling so much as a raw hamburger in Australia -- is this true?

For the last 35 years we've had unfair trade, with nations ripping us off, and we keep electing the same kind of risk-averse cowards who won't dare offend anyone--- non-American, that is. Mr. Trump is a breath of fresh air. He's evening out the playing field now. And the chickens are all sending the stock market tumbling, 'cos they want their cowardly Biden-Obama types back. I'm no expert on Markets, but, in my opinion, Markets will come back. It is a Rich-man's Manipulation...billionaires stand to lose too much if the tank goes on for long -- they will scoop-up the shed-shares making more profits for themselves. I am no expert, but I am not selling my retirement investments off, for the tide will turn without warning my great-unwashed feelings. Politicians will know before the public. Another thing Trump needs to tend too...making Insider Trading illegal for politicians. If I am not mistaken, Insider Trading is illegal for everyone else...but fine for politicians. If that is true, it is only asking for untethered corruption.

Hi Gershon; when all the dust clears, Trump goes down in history as one of our greatest presidents. One of the world's greatest benefactors. He and Musk are the real Dynamic Duo. Too many people only listen to mainstream news' propaganda, lies and distortions of truth (one can't even have a reasonable conversation with them without name calling and threats soon being hurled at you...rhetoric I hear on the internet, wishing good men and women violence and harm, some coming from so called Loving Poets, Lovers of Elegant Art, Lovers of Peace and Beauty...Pathetic!
