No Sleep
The delightful embrace
Of a blanket to your face
Wrapping around your body
Like a nice melody
The softness of the bed
Takes away your dread,
Keeps you in a state of peace
In a proper release
The pillow is soft and plump,
Making you want to jump
In joy and ecstasy
Into your own land of fantasy
Falling into a dream
Makes you want to scream
In delight and endless pleasure,
Happy in a perfect measure
Or at least, it would be nice
But the world is very vice
Your body cannot relax,
Your mind cannot be lax
The demons keep you close
And stick like a thorn on a rose
Fallen deep into the bush
You can never feel the rush
As you’re trapped in the thrush
Between the worlds, inside the horrible mush
