I had an aunt that called anything remotely funny "a lie". She did not understand fiction.

Hi Gershon Dads and jokes, my father included was the greatest dad in the world, he understood jokes, but oh dear, could not tell them to save his life. Better that than telling corny boomer jokes that could fall flat I suppose. Seems its in the genes, I can never remember a joke to relate it, but can tell amusing incidents that have occurred during my life.Had a laugh with this one Deb, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

For me it was Woody Allen, being from California, I couldn't stand his humor, until I got turned on to him and fell in love with him. Now nobody likes him! Lol
