Thanks Geoffrey. The Japanese poetic forms of expressing lend themselves to succinct expression as you know. So glad you like the Sedoka. I love Japan and go there often. My Daughter in Law - Takami is Japanese. I will definitely look at your offering in 'Three Stooges'...Maria

Living a life with no regrets would be the ideal way forward. Of course, there are things from the past that we still have the chance to put right - that achieved would guarantee an ever better present & future. Your poems reflects wise mind, Maria. Regards // paul

Yes you are right, they spend the present stuck in the past and worried about the future. Living in the present and being mindful is a rare skill.

Life is too short to live in regret, we all make mistakes and wish we can change things from the past.. We cant.. yes we will worry, but we need to move on.. the past has gone.. lessons are learnt and it is important to not make the same mistakes again.. Great Sedoka Maria..
