No Reason To Search

I care I search for answers in my head To find the truth before I am dead Was I first born 'fore my parents had wed Or was I adopted like my lone sister said My parents who raised me were thoughtful and kind But I suppose there was reason I've been held in the blind Some people say "I'm just out of my mind- There's no reason to search for answers to find" My parents now gone, they lived their whole lives through My lone sister, well... now she is gone too So, sometimes I sit thinking and while I'm feeling blue I try to forget about the answers that I never knew "Does it really matter" I asked my dear wife "No darling" she replied- "You've lived a wonderful life"

I agree with your wife. Forget the past. What is important is you, yourself and the way you live. Blessings.

Giving birth does not neccesarily make one a parent, Charlie. Very emotive write. Sounds to me like you were a very lucky man to have 2 loving "parents":)

Hey Daniel, you are absolutely right, my friend. Fortunately, I had 2 very loving parents. This is about a friend of mine. Thanks for stopping by!

My stepdaughter never really met her dad, I've known him since childhood...he was a complete failure who never even wanted to contact her. so sad. But you are right...she still wanted to know or at least meet him. Thank you, Anne-Lise! Hugs :)
