Oh Lord, hear my prayers, I beg you,
be my guiding light and my hope,
I’m alone and it's hard to cope.
My worst nightmares are coming true,
this world is quite an evil place
and I fear for the human race.
Oh Lord, tell me what I should do,
humanity's falling apart
and anger burns within my heart.
Please, Lord, I haven't got a clue
how to dissuade Man against sin,
when will mercy and love begin?
I've no one but You to turn to,
Jesus said," turn the other cheek,"
but the strong demolish the weak.
If I can't turn to You, then who?
For I feel friendless in this Hell,
where the Devil's disciples dwell.
Oh Lord, hear my prayers, I beg you,
My worst nightmares are coming true.
Oh Lord, tell me what I should do,
please, Lord, I haven't got a clue,
I've no one but You to turn to,
if I can't turn to You, then who?
