No Last Line

I wish I didn't write it down Making things so real Another phone call comes Affecting how I feel Flashes of memory Coursing through my mind Then I shut off and feel nothing Not true, not that way inclined I won't commit to paper The words that I just heard I won't say them out loud And hope reality deferred Hearts breaking in homes For people that I love Talking the unthinkable They'd think of talking of I just won't write it down Though time is now chasing Don't look at the clock This day I won't be facing What's unwritten is occurring The time is racing on No moments can be held back No last line, other than be strong

Well I thought I understood it. Writing down personal tragedies and heartbreaking moments in loved one lives editorialises it, makes it more real than we like to believe. Its happening but its unwritten, just will them to be strong through it all. Am I any where Close DD ? Cause I thought it was awfully good when I thought I understood it ?\

Thanks Wen, yes you are right. Even hearing the news my brain paints an alternative narrative and no-one wants to spell out actualities until absolutely necessary.

I like the conclusion, DD, but the pre-penultimate verse is unclear to me. Overall a good write :)
