SP, thanks for reading. Your analysis goes pretty deep!!! As rich as some of the billionaires are, they will never feel the kind of joy many of us can feel by living with respect and kindness for all of humanity and for our planet itself. Since all this is temporary, I just wonder why some are so singularly and selfishly focused on their own wealth and power. Logically, it makes no sense to me. When we realize that everything ends, we start to understand our ability to be kind means more than anything else. Smiles!!!

I was just reading an article in the NYT about private mega yachts. The most interesting fact in the article (IMO) was. that the top 0.1 percent of American households saw their wealth grow by 90 percent, to a collective $23.3 trillion, from the fourth quarter of 2017, when President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, to the second quarter of 2025, according to the Federal Reserve. Most everyone I know hasn't seen that kind of wealth increase and I wonder what's the point of that much wealth accumulation. Take care and hope you are well!!!! Smiles!!

Thomas Paine said, "In the United States, no man is a monarch: the law is supposed to be king. In "Common Sense published in January 1776, Paine explained why we should declare independence from the King of England. He called for a new government based not in heritage or tradition, but in the law.
