Nine Nights More To Go

J-ust nine nights more to go, E-arly first day will dawn; A-nother cold ending eventide N-ever meets the next horizon. R-each the brand new year, O-n the first of January; S-ee the fireworks display, E-veryone will be in great glee. C-herish the sound of joy, A-llow the future to be bright; L-et the past fade into yesterday, U-se the event of hope and light. M-eanwhile December twenty-second B-egins to sense the fresh morn's glow; A-im at twenty eighteen, nine nights more to go.
