Wow!! What a creative poem this is, sweet Andrea, I absolutely love how you’ve shaped this hiku that seems to be swinging with magic, visually as well. It feels like a truly joyful night, playing with cosmic entities and being charmed by the celestial beauty of the universe…I hope it will do well in the contest, sending many best wishes and light always. A fave for me!

Like the shape and the theme Andrea. The swinging on the moon part ties in well with the girl on the swing

I just love this. I used to say I didn't like shape poetry but after reading yours and David K.'s, I may have to retire that phrase--and try one myself :) I especially like that the swoop with the extended tail looks also a bit like a scythe, making it read slightly ominous / ironic if you squint. Great work.

it's cool that you saw more in it than I did. You are awesome, Jaymee.

LOL - No, I got that it was intended to be a swing, but I read and reread - especially smaller poems to understand the mechanics, and in doing so, it started to read differently, a little haunting when I realized the shapes were so similar. I loved it and definitely thought the multiple, implied tones were intentional :)
