Nightmare
When moonbeams gleam, dreamland beckons
We expect sweet dreams, not those that scare
But a dream may change within seconds
And take us to the realm of a nightmare
A scary scene, a silent scream
Heartbeats pound as fear we feel
Trying to stop the nightmare theme
We wonder then. is the bogeyman real?
The sandman lulls us to sleep once more
As dark clouds obscure the moon's glow
But the nightmare returns as before
And our fears continue to grow
