Nightfall
Look at me gently, my love~
as gentle as the glow
of waning moonlight
in the quiet bosom of nightfall.
Speak softly love to me again,
As soft as a soaring symphony
of heaven’s nocturnal orchestra
in the gentle cadence of nightfall.
Sing to me once again, my love
those melodies written in the clouds~
whispered by the west wind
in the swaying leaves of nightfall.
Dance with me again, my love
Come hold my hand like it’ll be the last~
Let me be yours even for a moment
in the scented shades of nightfall.
