That's a beautifully compact meditation on night, Joe—so much layered in just a few lines. I especially love the contrast between darkness for intimacy and guiding light from the stars. It feels both personal and universal. Thanks for sharing this gem!

Night covers and unravels., illuminates and darkens.... so antithetical. Yet intimacy grows in the silent hours of night! But wandering in the open on a starry night is more exciting. Lovely poem, dear Joe.
