Nice and Easy
E-xpress the word nice and easy,
M-ake it gentle and true;
I-f one scorns your person,
L-et the hate depart from
Y-ou.
R-ead the poem nice and easy,
E-arly eighteenth of July;
M-ake it very careful,
I-t's a word war neath the sky.
L-et not the haste
L-ive in your memory;
E-nding the recklessness,
T-o make it nice and
E-asy.
