It's sure is hard to believe that they are no longer there. Especially when they are captured in many movie's. Fine Haiku Daver, have a lovely weekend :)

How very true and sad.... it's those moments indeed that one can just think it was even imaginable to think that the twin towers would be gone....oops, I think even I got befuddled in my comments here, sorry....

It is so sad to see them in movies or news reels when they still stood. Your haiku evokes that sadness. Soup Mail

By the way, I hope you'll be cheering for FSU Seminoles next weekend when take take on first-ranked Oklahoma. Last year Oklahoma crushed us. Maybe it's time for revenge. Since FSU is ranked 4 or 5, depending on the poll, this game will be telecast next Saturday on ABC.

Indeed, Daver, I saw "Sleepless in Seattle" again recently and there were the towers in New York. A gripping, emotional write, my friend. The girl for whom I wrote the "rainbow" poem wanted to remain anonymous, but she does post on the Soup occasionally and has been very supportive during my illness, calling often from another country. Meanwhile those who have been friends for years seem to turn away. I'm so glad I have this new friend. Go Michigan State! Love, Carolyn

How often I have had this same thought....it takes my breath away, to see them now....Who could have ever dreamed such a thing, when we once took them so for granted?
