Never Make a Promise
NEVER MAKE A PROMISE
Never made a promise, a promise can be broke
A father says to his son see you later I promise
7 hours into work the father dies from a stroke
Funeral held all eyes on the young boy Thomas
Head lowered; his hands clenched in total anger
Nothing could be said or done; to calm Thomas
Who had now lost his one and only true anchor
The boy cry's out, but dad you made a promise
