Never Let Your Mind Sail
J-ust never let your mind sail,
O-n the twenty-first of May;
A-s you read my acrostic,
N-ight chill fades away.
C-ome to think of it,
O-ne line means so much;
N-ever let your mind sail,
C-ouplet can truly touch.
E-legy can make you cry,
P-rose can stop the tears;
C-oncrete can shape your heart,
I-n the joy of birthday cheers.
O-nly one thing is sure, this poem is not for sale;
N-either eye will turn blind, never let your mind sail.
