Never Compare and Do Not Dare

Never Compare and Do Not Dare What we should do is never compare; Or ever be a big show off do not dare; A good priest with us God will share. Jim Horn Please forgive me. When you have been following the same priest every Sunday for twelve years things do become habit forming. What you must realize is that the congregation if God's not yours. Heaven has been and always will be in a permanent state. We and the world are in a temporary state. Wind will blow. Animals and things will be destroyed. We will be born and die. That is not a bad idea and I will think about it. That is what I wish you would have said. You took my comments personally which you never should have done. I was only trying to helpful and thoughtful so I thought. You were hearing what I was saying but not hearing what I was telling you. We do have a dire need for counseling, advising and recommending. Suppose if instead of saying that is the way Father Dave used to do it I said that is the way God would have done it. Would you have been mad at me then. What we must realize is a priest is human just like we are. You are right. We tend to either criticize, condemn and complain or put people on a pedestal. If that pedestal may be to high, they may fall off of it. I am going to have to mention a way someone else does things so do not get upset with me. Bishop Curry created a book called, "Crazy Christians," back in 2013. I am reading it again for the third time. I took the course along with the book. Read it if you have not read it already. I am returning back to my reading. Just remember. If you cannot say anything good about someone never say anything at all. What we give out is what we will receive back in return. Your comment upset me so I am upset with you. We are both in God's game together and must play by the same rules which are His. God bles us both. In Crist, Jim Horn
