Never Alone
We float along through life on gentle and untroubled waters,
until we encounter those invasive times of ‘the suddenly’ and the unwelcome ‘interrupts’. Whether they are few or many, life is accompanied by bitter cups. Sometimes we droop under their weight, only to discover One who is called along beside us to comfort, help, and lift us up.
When our crises are more than we alone can defend or even comprehend; or when it appears that we have been wronged by those contrary winds, and our strength has worn thin; there is One who is faithful to again make us strong.
No. He is not a hard taskmaster,
nor one who evades our disasters.
But yes. He is Goodness realized.
And yes. He is Love personified.
Yes. He is indeed Holiness infused
No. His love never violates His holiness
Neither does His Holiness negate His Love
By His Trustworthiness, we are consoled.
In every matter concerning us, He will be Righteous
