Never Alone

In school, a child learns what they need to know. Subjects to broaden a young mind. The lessons we learn in life, help us grow. Always seeking answers we hope to find. As life happens, we lose, we gain Opinions, beliefs, we sort through, Our struggles, may they not be in vain. Ultimately searching for what is true. On our continuing journey through life, we are aware of others doing the same. We share periods of pain and strife, and learn that this is not a game. As we travel down life's winding road, we make difficult choices along the way. To carry a burden is a heavy load. Is it worth the price you have to pay? We are all in our own way unique, each having something special to give. It is not our given right to critique, the life that one chooses to live.
