Never

Never! Never again, will you ever win my body, my love, my trust. You are the Grand-Prize winner of my disgust! You wanted to win, just had to win so bad.., isn't it sad you lost all that you had..? Never, never again, will you ever win my passion, our lovemaking, pleasures, you know I can give... You are denied! For as long as we both shall live. You've won, you've won, you deserve what you get for what you've done... but isn't it sad, so very sad you lost all that you had..? Never! Never again, will you ever win my smile, my laugh, my pride, the innermost thoughts I hold inside. My captivated stare, how I ran my fingers through your hair, hopes and dreams I thought we'd share... Congratulations! You win.. Your lies and schemes, the games you played did us in!! But, you're good like that... too bad for you, this time, there won’t be a come back. Isn't it sad, so so sad you lost all that you had with me..? Susan Ashley July 16, 2017 (re-edited) (6/29/10)

Excellent expression. Most people who come out of a relationship like that never realize the courage they have shown.

Dear Vince, indeed, it does take an immense amount of courage to see the deceptive relationship for what it is and then to leave it. Your insightful comments are a delight to receive and are heartwarming in their empathy. Thank you, my friend, your poetic presence is ever appreciated. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Ah, it s so beautiful and nice written poem, it was a little sad because sometimes we love our partner and even though he s bad and we are glad to to leave him but still sadness overwhelm us and on many occasions we miss them in eveey occasion, in mostly cases, the husbands are bad, yet the wives stay just because they can t think of a life without them, it s a really nice poem that no matter if he has won, but he has lost someone special in his life

This is an excellent slam, Susan. I am sure he did not deserve anything better than this! His winnings are nothing compared to his losses! This is a great way to let off steam and get it out of your system - same way you got him out of your life. ~ warm regards // paul
