Never-Ending Ride

Riding horses towards crimson sun Ginger twists of her hair everywhere, Smiling my darling enjoys the ride While I only picture her eyes, Could never reach her even For a moment for a second, Swifter I pursue, farther she runs Craving her hands for a touch, Neither near nor I am far I'm not hers and she's not mine, Now the park is closed, children gone But I don't want this carousel to stop.
