Clouds no longer shroud the moon
Where mountains rise from west and east
And moonlight's silvery glow is strewn
Casting light upon the beast
In Luna's glow the monster basks
Its neck protruding from the water
It's rarely seen by those you ask
A legend lingering ever after
In the distance there's a lightning flash
As the mystery of the night unfolds
The Loch Ness monster is quite brash
As it swims about very bold
But when the moon hides behind clouds
Upon the water darkness creeps
The monster's mystery it then enshrouds
As it submerges, to the deep
