Necked Truth
A giraffe once told me
a funny story of his life;
Shared to me - his longest neck
is less joy more of a strife.
Despite his grand and unique posture
standing slim and tall,
He absolutely doesn’t feel
superior above all,
As by the time the funny joke
reaches his perky ears,
He’s missed again the outburst
of his jungle buddies’ cheers.
