Necessary Burned Bridges
You never know where you'll end up
When you veer from your up bringing
Back home they might sing some praises
He knows it's not his, they're singing
Staying with his brother ended
At the time to him it seemed rude
When he had some gal in the pool
Just because they were drunk and nude!
He had to leave town for a beer
With whoever had gas in their cars
Since him and his drinking buddies
Were banned from all the local bars
Things now have changed for the better
With a good woman by his side
Look at this, pappy is happy
In spite of a rough, rocky rise!
