Nature's Bliss

The sun is on my back, the breeze on my face As I wander through, this beautiful place It’s a warm summer day, approaching fall Trees wait to show color, proudly standing tall Gurgling songs can be heard from the brook, In the moment standing still, that I took To listen for nature’s relaxing sounds like this Its language lifting my heart with bliss Standing with dancing shadows on the ground, I feel my heart move with the brook, it has found These gifts wait for me, every single day As I move on with my walking, light as child’s play Heidi Sands 9/14/21
