Nature, Beautiful Nature
NATURE, BEAUTIFUL NATURE
When the morning sun peeps over the hill
The birds and squirrels can't seem to be still
I watch the horses out in the field
Romping and playing as horses will
I take a stroll to the old grist mill
To buy Grandma a peck of cornmeal
She'll fix supper, oh what a thrill
To sit and eat 'til I get my fill
In the meantime I'll go see Jill
And pick her a rose or a daffodil
Maybe go swimming down by the mill
Find some watermelons to steal
Summer in the country --- that's what is real
At one with nature is how you will feel
