Natural Nobility

I watched the glacier slowly drip... Then crack... and slip beneath the sea. For forty years she disappeared, A nameless, melted dynasty. But on a breezy, cloud-lit day, Ten thousand measured miles away, The sun pierced through the fractured blue; Then something drifted into view. A floating singularity, Most certainly nobility, Now lost upon the skyward sea, Her Majesty... still marching on... Still searching for Eternity...
