Natural Disasters-Dixdeaux O

Nature's red fury astounds the eye The host of a thousand dreams up in smoke New life The sea shrugs its mighty shoulders at man The shore accepts its wrath and destruction New life Winds that blow in writhing tunnels sweep by Man in awe of this terrible beauty New life

WOW, Barbara, and this reminds me of a long time ago when someone did a natural disasters kind of contest. I remember focusing on three or four elements like you did but I forget now if I did them as haiku or tanka or what?? anyway, OMG, I was really happily surprised about my win. Let me soupmail you my address.
