Very nice, Sanannah, Apparently you and I share an appreciation of our Native American ancestry. Your's is similar to the one-and-only hiaku work I've done. I'm more of a traditional person, I guess. You have Soup Mail, by the way. Catch you up the trail, ~<><

What a lovely thought, Savannah! A friend of mine spent the night camping in the Smokey Mountains where the Trail of Tears began. She claims spirits of Native Americans awakened her at night with their cries of sorrow. But this poem is delightfully upbeat! Love, Carolyn
