National Hug Day Today's ‘National Hug Day’ everyone Though we are all distanced send some hugs on Send them via email or text message A virtual hug can be expressive. Just hug in the way that it suits you best Though never send a hug just for a jest Someone sad may be in need of some love Nothing warms the heart like a cuddly hug. A hug can portray your love has no end Or simply "thank you" for being a friend Make someone happy, send a big bear hug Give the best hug of all to your true love. Need a hug? 21st January 2021

Interesting that I heard about this on the radio twice today... What do you make of the fact that the Olympics were postponed last year and may well be postponed again --- but not National Hug Day. Not sure what it all means myself, but food for thought, anyway. Thanks, Belle. :) gw

Gershon, it does make one wonder how some things like the Olympics get postponed and other things get to go ahead. That’s why I wrote that a virtual hug is ok, in these days of the covid we all have to do our best to keep ourselves and everyone else safe. Thank you for the input, definitely food for thought...
