Nameless dreams seem to echo, returning…
Joy and peace, flavors of a season, fall
Stirring embraces from the wind, yearning
For gentle and soft, a slow Southern drawl
Joy and peace, flavors of a season, fall
Fresh dew trickling on the shadow’s whisper
For gentle and soft, a slow Southern drawl
There’s strength in the air, more alive, crisper.
Fresh dew trickling on the shadow’s whisper
With childlike faith, hearts jump in piles of leaves,
There’s strength in the air, more alive, crisper,
Warm gatherings move the soul who believes.
With childlike faith, hearts jump in piles of leaves,
Cozy sweaters attempt to still the wind,
Warm gatherings move the soul who believes,
Kindly grace whistles through hearts God designed.
Cozy sweaters attempt to still the wind,
Oaks, maples and birch waltz beneath the sun
Kindly grace whistles through hearts God designed,
This season that will never be outdone.
Oaks, maples and birch waltz beneath the sun
Mighty merriment heals the darkest doubts,
This season that will never be outdone
Sunrise trickles with its stunning handouts.
Mighty merriment heals the darkest doubts,
At summer’s edge, fall kindles flames of hope,
Sunrise trickles with its stunning handouts
Assuring, with Him, hearts can always cope.
At summer’s edge, fall kindles flames of hope,
Stirring embraces from the wind, yearning
Assuring, with Him, hearts can always cope,
Nameless dreams seem to echo, returning.
