Lol, there are definitely some strange ones out there. People just want to be different, but the poor kid has to live with the name.

This is funny and sad at the same time. It reminds me of the poor little girl named Apple. Why don’t parents think of what the child may go through. I had to laugh at what Andrea said about calling the child boo-hoo? A knock knock joke. Blessings Connie xxoo

Hello Jan … Johnny Cash could have stated this with ‘a boy named Sue’ but in all seriousness, some parents don’t think of the child’s future - thank you Jan - Lindsay

Laughing out loud! I don't know what parents are thinking sometimes. A friend named her SON "Autumn." He's had to fight for respect, but he's handled it well and with humor. Hugs, Carolyn

Hahaha...You know, we aren't aware sometimes in naming our kids..because we name them according to how we feel without realising how it may sound. Thank you Jenna for the humour and fun reading this poem.Blessings.

And when boo gets a boo boo, the laughs continue. Who knew? They warned us about names when I was in the Navy. The nurses said somebody named their baby “Tripler” after the hospital. I used to love the book with all the baby names.

I think someone once said you should be able to SCREAM a child's name - although I don't know if i'd put it to the test!

Oh Boo... this remind me of my grandma when she named her puppies Yes and No... Lol! Those puppies were most confused but were so adorable and loving. We basically grew up together until they passed... Great poem as always, Jan. ^_^

a perfect limerick, jan, and a funny one, too, of course! the weirdest baby name i ever heard was placenta - the mother heard it in the delivery room and just liked the way it sounded. (the story was told to me by my mechanic, who heard one of his customers calling her daughter by that name and asked about it...)

Poor child. I wonder what her last name was...Bonic? And when she gets hurt, will her Mama say, "Oh Boo has a boo boo." I say BOO HISS to a parent who picks a weird name for their child. Limerick thoughts, Jan. lol
