Mystery of the Moon
The mystery of the moon
I was born a Cancer child
Way back in forty three
And so the moon, she rules my soul
And means so much to me.
Since those very ancient days
Folk have always seen
By looking up at lady moon
That so much does she mean
She rules forests, and the animals
And the tides that rule the sea
It seems she rules the spirits too
She’s filled with mystery
When full moon comes, some folk go mad
They call it lunacy
She has such power in her form
Oh how she fascinates me
The moon she does effect our lives
In many different ways
And this is why when the full moon comes
I always at her gaze
25 June 2014.
