Mystery Of love

Who can say where it comes from? Only that it’s there, when least expected, thought to be rare if not obsolete One night, the air a swirl of restless dream and moonbeam, we are kept awake by a tingling...an unsettling of the heart the longing for another, also, searching for a missing part We scold ourselves, a thousand times been there, done that, sought fulfillment in silly love rhymes yet, compelled as addicts in an opium den, together we will try to write heaven again

Very true, we never know when the melodies of love tune in with our heartbeats, landing us into a whimsical world of mysteries where every moment is a journey to discover.. And it may take several twists.. Well, love is truly a pure emotion which can't be controlled.. Sometimes like an addiction as you've described.. "compelled as addicts n an opium den, together", "we will try to write heaven again" That wish of changing every dark second into a beautiful sunshine.. So heartfelt this is!

Wow... this is so beautiful. Love is a tantalizing emotion.... a true mystery that makes the mind at once restless and excited. We get addicted to that emotion somehow. No body can say from where it comes, but we know that it is there. Only when love resides in our heart, we can sing of love like this. Have a happy week ahead dear Joe.

love is indeed a mystery and you've eloquently expressed that component of love. I also like how you compared love to being compelled like 'addicts in an opium den' Stunning, Joe! I also liked the last line. Nicely done, Joe. Have a splendid evening, Sara

What the heck, it seems human nature to be addicted to something...so why not love?! Blessings my friend.

Ah, to write heaven together side by side like to sleuths of old, each holding the pen of the other, that is what life is all about, nice one Joe

"sleuths of old" -- love that. I think, after all is said and done -- lived...love is probably the one thing we can all agree upon, that was worth the journey into discovery, and, given the option, the treasure we would want to take with us above all others.

Addicts of all kinds, money, drugs...and I guess...love for some, though that sounds too contrary. Thank you, Deb. Blessings.

well I feel love is an emotion that when we feel it we have no control over it.. I hope you can write heaven again and it does not involve opium.. or any other form or narcotic...

Absolutely, I wish all no need for drugs...but, they can be a temporary blessing for those suffering severe pain. Thank you, my friend.
