My Youth

My youth Did I leave it on the dance floor Or was it left in the bottom of a glass Did I waste it on the factory floor Or watching tele sat on my ass was it shortened with a broken heart As that’s what love can do Did I waste it loving someone Who would never love be back Do I lament the passing of my youth Now Im getting older And Wiser by the day Would I waste it on the dance floor Still Leave that drink in the bottom of the glass Binge watch another series of the hottest new tv show Earn a decent living on the factory floor Hell yes Just don’t waste with someone who will never love you back
