My Words Echo In the Wind
"Every secret memory, every experience in life, and every
thought can be written within the words of a poem. " by _Constance
Life is full of storms with lightning and wind,
and sometimes it seems that I struggle blind;
yet, those same storms have made me who I am,
where grief and life in poetry- has twined !
Since so young I have been writing inclined,
and this journey comes with no diagram;
down a long road my beloved- I find,
my sister, dad, my child, a mom so kind !
I began this life an innocent lamb,
yet, my purpose was soon to be defined;
as writing my sorrow brings peace of mind,
oh, I wish writing came with a program !
I started my "career" writing kid tales,
stories about my cat and many dolls;
I even wrote them on my bedroom walls !
But, in time my writing had deep details,
and to this day this life passion prevails;
though, somedays my muse and my pen just crawls !
When I am stumped- seems a nature theme calls;
blowing to me on misty gauzy veils !
