My Wishes Are Not Heard

All my wishes I have sent Up above for someone descent To come love me endlessly With no pain and less cruelty Like I've known time and again Has not been answered, I can't win Where are all the good ol' boys Who don't treat girls like a toy There has to be one somewhere Who will answer my love prayer Wrapping me in arms so tight Making every wrong go right All my pleas I will keep sending This love task is never ending Until I am happily Joined with someone who will see I may be a little broken Shy, so scared and soft spoken From my past experience Of men who caused me to wince At the way they left me scared They never truly really cared Searching now for someone who Will fix what I've been through But there's no answers so far From prayers on a far off star
