My Winter Day
Snow covered trees
And cold frosty weather
It all brings back memories
Of the family together
We’d walk through the cold deep snow
And climb up the big white hill
Then sled down to the ground below
It was all such a thrill
Then once we were done
We’d all head back home
But it wasn’t the end of the fun
For more was yet to come
We would all sit together
And drink hot cocoa with cookies
Then tell stories of pirates and treasure
And eat all our goodies
My winters were icy
But happy and fun
I think of this season highly
For the snow is about to come
