My Visiting Muse

Quote By Poet "I never know when my muse will come for a visit." 


My muse can be very fickle at times,                                                                  there are days I need to kick it out of bed.                                                            Why should it sleep in if I can't,                                                                            seems unfair to me.                                                                                            As I sit with hot coffee in hand,                                                                      thinking~thinking.                                                                                                   My muse is starting to awake from it's sleep,                                                      I wonder what we will write today.                                                                        I start to write in one direction,                                                                            then my muse says stop~no.                                                                            Do you know what it is like,                                                                                  like to argue with your muse.                                                                              In the end we both agree on a poem,                                                                  one meant for you and for me.                                                                              I love my muse,                                                                                               and my muse loves me.

Muses to me are specific grown children of their Father Zeus in Greece. A mentor in the flesh,Ido have.we never argue. He knows this path of poetry verty well. Do I sound weird?
